Tues 13 Feb 2007: Public Meeting to Organise for 4th Anniversary of Invasion of Iraq
As the fourth anniversary of the War on Iraq draws near, Peace Action
Wellington (PAW) has been discussing the types of protest activity
that might take place in Wellington in March.
We believe that Wellington's response, after four years of US-led
imperialism in Iraq, with no public condemnation from the New Zealand
Government (in fact, we sent engineers to work alongside the invaders in
2003), needs to be organised on a broad front with a number of locally based
groups, activists and unions participating.
Therefore, please come along to a public meeting to discuss Wellington's
response to the fourth anniversary of the War on Iraq.
